What is this activity about?

The “International Meeting of Socio-Emotional Skills: Development and Collaboration in a Hyperconnected World” is an academic activity organised by the School of Psychology of the Universidad del Desarrollo, that will take place between September 29^th and October 2^nd, 2020.

The meeting aims to gather national and international experts to discuss about socio-emotional skills and their relevance in today’s society. It is expected to be an open space for dialogue from science, for the promotion of scientific initiatives and public opinion with diverse and transdisciplinary knowledge.

The meeting is organised around four areas:

1. Socio-emotional abilities for social well-being.
2. Social-emotional abilities as a resource to overcome the artificial division between mental and physical health: promotion, prevention and intervention.
3. Family context as first modellers of socio-emotional abilities.
4. How socio-emotional abilities are developed in the formal educational system.

Who can participate?

The invitation is open to everyone who wants to attend. However, there are limited places, therefore, you must register in advance.

How do I sign up?

You can register through the following link: https://socioemocional.udd.cl/programa-inscripciones/. Check the program by day/activity and sign up where appears “Click here to complete the registration form”.

What happens if I did not get the Zoom access link?

If the booking link did not arrive at your “inbox”, you should check if it is in the “spam”. We cannot send the link directly since the platform automatically delivers it one day and one hour before each activity. Another common problem is the typing error of the email, therefore, if that happens, you can enter the activity through our UDD TV platform (https://uddtv.udd.cl/).

Can I participate in more than one activity at the time?

No. You can only participate in one activity at the time. However, once the activity is over, you can continue joining in others. Make sure to check the schedules well.

Will the activities be recorded?

Some of the activities (seminars and symposiums) will be recorded according to the criteria of each exhibitor. You can later access them at https://psicologia.udd.cl/categoria/conferences/page/2/.

How can I book activities if I am a foreigner with no RUT?

We suggest completing the form with 0000000 in case you are a foreigner and cannot complete with the RUT.

What happens if I have a particular condition that does not allow me to comprehend the activity?

What happens if my interest activity has no vacancies?

In the case of seminars and symposiums, these will be broadcast live via streaming through UDDTV, so you only need to access uddtv.udd.cl and watch the transmission.

Are the activities certified?

No, none of the activities of this international meeting will be certified.
